First
village Chernyn is mentioned in historical documents in granting of
these lands by B.Hmelnytskiy to Mezhygirskiy Monastery. A mountain
where the monastery was situated was made by people. Along ravine river
Cherna flew through the village. Long time it belonged to
Bilotserkivske Starostvo of Rich Pospolyta, then went to ownership of
counts Branytskiy. Considerable part of inhabitants was settlers of
noble birth.
